Chicago Cubs Lineup (9/11/22): Miley on Hill as Cubs Hope to Salvage Series

The Chicago Cubs can win the series against the San Francisco Giants with a win today. To do so they’ll need a strong showing from Wade Miley.

Miley has been excellent when he’s been healthy, but he’s yet to get into any type of rhythm this season having started just five games. He’s only pitched more than four innings in just two of those games, mainly because he’s always in ramp-up mode. He’ll need to pitch into the 6th inning, at least, for the Cubs to have a real shot today.

Zach McKinstry leads off and is playing second, Rafael Ortega is in center, Seiya Suzuki is in right, Ian Happ is in left, and Franmil Reyes is DH. Nico Hoerner is at short, Alfonso Rivas is at first, Yan Gomes is catching, and David Bote is at third.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:08pm CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and 670 The Score.
