Chicago Cubs Lineup (4/23/23): Stroman Starting for Split
This series has gone back and forth to this point and the Cubs need to win the fourth game in order to split. They’ll be doing that behind Marcus Stroman, who has been incredible through four starts, but their opponents have a little skill on their side as well. Clayton Kershaw is still shoving in his 16th season and he’s still a big-time strike-thrower with a nasty hook.
Apologies for the brevity of this post, but I’m heading out to my son’s tournament game(s) this morning and didn’t have the time or inclination to prep this last night. I really do enjoy these lineup posts because the research is fun and I like to think the results provide some unique insight to readers.
First pitch is at 1:20pm CT on Marquee and 670 The Score.
.@STR0's on the mound for the series finale vs. LA!
