Codi Heuer Added to I-Cubs Roster, Will Pitch in Saturday’s Doubleheader

The Cubs bullpen has not been very sharp of late, but it looks like it’s about to get a little stronger. Righty Codi Heuer, who has not pitched since September 29, 2021 due to elbow reconstruction, has joined the Triple-A Iowa Cubs and will pitch Saturday night in the first game of their doubleheader.

RHP Codi Heuer has officially been added to the @IowaCubs roster on MLB Rehab.

He is expected to pitch in game one of today's doubleheader.

It will be his first outing September 29, 2021.
