Cubs Non-Tender Nick Madrigal

As expected, the Cubs have non-tendered Nick Madrigal. Though he still has a few supporters among Cubs fans, Madrigal never displayed anything approaching the hit toll the Cubs thought they were getting when they acquired him and Codi Heuer for Craig Kimbrel. Since I’m out to dinner and this is not surprising news in the least, I’ll leave off here and may add more later.
