Cubs Announce 2026 Opening Day Roster

The Chicago Cubs have set their 2026 Opening Day 26-man roster in advance of their 2026 season opener tomorrow vs. the Washington Nationals at Wrigley Field.
Infielder Scott Kingery and outfielder Michael Conforto have been selected to the 40-man roster.
The Cubs have placed outfielder Seiya Suzuki on the 10-day injured list with a right knee sprain (retroactive to March 22), right-handed pitcher Porter Hodge on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow strain (retroactive to March 22), left-handed pitcher Jordan Wicks on the 15-day injured list with left forearm inflammation (retroactive to March 22) and left-handed pitcher Justin Steele on the 60-day injured list with a left elbow injury.
Right-handed pitcher Jack Neely has been designated for assignment.
