Tanner Roark Says Cubs Playing ‘Scared Baseball’ by Walking Harper

Evidently, Tanner Roark is a wee bit emotional after getting swept in a four-game series by the Cubs. He told the Washington Post that the Cubs were playing ‘scared baseball’ today by not pitching to Bryce Harper. By his logic, every time a batter has ever been issued an intentional walk by another team the opposing team did it because they were scared.

Well, if winning lots of games is scared baseball, then apparently the Cubs are frightened to death! Or maybe Tanner is just dumbfounded for words to explain how the Nationals just got outscored 25-16 on their way to getting swept by the best team in baseball.
