Despite Heyward’s offensive concerns, the Cubs’ right field core ranks 6th in FanGraphs’ latest power rankings, behind the Dodgers, Pirates, Marlins, Nationals, and Red Sox.

A safety net webbed by Ben Zobrist, Albert Almora, and Matt Szczur projects to provide Theo Epstein’s team with 3.0 WAR over 700 plate appearances, with Heyward accumulating most of the plate appearances and 2.8 WAR.
