Chicago Cubs Lineup (3/19/22): Hermosillo Leads Off, Several Regulars Debut, Steele Makes Start

Justin Steele is on the mound for the Cubs as they continue Cactus League action with a few more regulars than we’ve seen to this point. The lefty is trying to secure a spot in a crowded rotation that doesn’t feature too many dynamic throwers, so this appearance might have a little more meaning than most at such an early juncture.

Michael Hermosillo is leading off in lefty, followed by Willson Contreras behind the plate and Jason Heyward in center. Patrick Wisdom is at third, Alfonso Rivas is the first baseman, Sergio Alcántara handles short, and Zach Davis is in right. Alexander Canario has DH duties in this one and Andy Weber completes the lineup at second.

The Cubs will start out facing Padres righty Reiss Knehr in a game that gets underway at 3:05pm CT on Marquee Sports Network.
