Husnaa Vhora

Husnaa was born and raised in Harvey,Ilinois. She has a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago. From a young age, she knew that she wanted to get out. She wasn't quite sure what she wanted to get out of but she knew she wanted to get out. Over the years, she has realized she wants to break the cultural molds of what is expected of an Indian woman and works actively to break barriers. She hopes to pave the way for future generations of Indian girls who feel lost and trapped. She fell in love with baseball as a young girl and hopes to become the first hijabi sports anchor one day. In her spare time, she works on her first book that will hopefully be published in December of this year!
